VizAlert Motorcycle Radar Detector Display speedcheetah - 104 views - 1 week ago
http://www.SpeedCheetah.com ---- The VizAlert is a wireless visual display system for your motorcycle helmet, that lets you know exactly what your radar detector is doing, without looking down. Its a heads-up display that lets you use your existing radar detector much more effectively on your bike and it can make the difference between avoiding tickets and getting them!

The VizAlert is the most advanced radar detector display for motorcycles in the world.

VizAlert tells you what type of radar is being detected. Its the only Heads up display system with a 6 color LED display that gives different color alerts for all the different radar and laser bands.

VizAlert tells you how close to the trap you are. Its the only heads up display that flashes more quickly as the signal strength gets stronger. With slow, medium and fast flash rates, the visual alerts ramp up, just like your detector does.

VizAlert is Wireless.. so there are no annoying cables attaching you to the bike. And its waterproof..so if you get caught in the rain, you wont have to replace the display like you do with other systems. We made it battery powered and motion sensitive so there are no switches where water can leak in. The display switches on when you pick up your helmet and shuts off after 10 minutes of no motion.

VizAlert has automatic dimming. Its the only one with a daylight sensor so you wont light up like a Christmas tree at night.

With its specially contoured baseplate, VizAlert fits every style of helmet. For Sportsbike use, mount it vertical on the back of your full-face or flip-face helmet. Or for Cruiser style helmets, mount it on the side and use the supplied boom arm. It looks just like a microphone. The Carbon fibre styling with silver trim give the VizAlert an elegant style in a class of its own.

The Wireless Transmitter simply plugs into your radar detector and you can then place it under your seat, because the transmitter part is not waterproof.

Connecting up the power supply is quick and easy, even if youve never done something like this before. Theres no difficult hardwiring so you dont have to interfere with your bikes electrical system, risking your bikes warranty. Simply connect our intelligent engine running sensor, the POWERnode, directly to the battery terminals. This smart little gizmo automatically powers up your radar detector when you start up the engine.

The VizAlert is available for great radar detectors like the Valentine 1, Beltronics STi Driver, Escort 8500 X50, or the Beltronics RX65. If you prefer a concealed detector installed underneath your fairing, we also make VizAlerts for some remote radar systems like the Escort SR7 series or the European model, Target Evo 966RM,

The Cheetah VizAlert keeps your options open for the future. Its the only motorcycle helmet display that works with both radar detectors and laser jammers. So if you think you might add a laser defence system at some point in the future, VizAlert is the clear winner.

Cheetah makes optional extra Laser Jammer Interfaces that link up the leading laser jammer systems wirelessly with the VizAlert display. They work with all the best performing laser defence brands like Blinder, Laser Interceptor, AntiLaser and Laser Pro Park

So, if you ever wanted to use your radar detector on a bike, now theres a new way you can stop missing alerts.and start missing tickets!

OK, so Redflex have possibly come up with a real game changer. Photo radar vans that cannot be detected before 300 feet, and that take your picture at 200 feet. Yes, that means 100 feet reaction time and slowing distance.

If your radar detector cost you less than $400 - time to change approach. Mark locations on a Cheetah GPS speed camera detector.

Important info for V1 users:
*****************************
This video is not meant to be a criticism of the V1 in any way. The point of the video is not to show how little warning the V1 gives for this new threat. Rather the point is to show that if a detector as good as the V1 only gets this much range, imagine how bad all the others must be!!!

The V1 is still one of the best out there and that's why we use it (every day!) In fact, this individual V1 unit is "famously" good on K Band. It was tested by GOL (www.GuysofLidar.com) and outperformed all others on K Band. You should consider it a "juiced" unit for K band performance. That's why we chose it for these test runs against this new K band threat.

80% of radar detectors on the US market do not even register an alert for these new camera vans until you are past them and have a ticket. This is a game changing radar camera system. It is completely different to the radar you encounter in police cruisers.

In this video, the V1 is mounted lower for ease of filming. We did have the V1 mounted high on lots of runs against this camera van system. It makes no difference whatsoever against this type of radar unit. One of the runs was shown in the vid at 3:08. The Video Thumbnail even shows it mounted high.

The point of showing the C100 in the same video is not to say it's better than the V1. It is a completely different type of product. We're not saying, "You should have the C100 instead of a V1." We're saying, "You should consider the C100 as well as your V1." The two units are designed to work together and complement each other; the V1 for blistering performance and arrows; the C100 for fixed camera alerts, marked locations, well known speed trap sites, false alarm suppression of the V1's false alarms, etc, etc.

The C100 does everything the V1 doesn't, and vice-versa.
Cheetah make a Radar Detector Interface for their GPS detector that plug into the V1 and make the two products work as one complete system, giving you the best of both worlds. In effect, you can "9500ix" your V1 If you don't know what this means, then you definitely need to contact us! :-)
