Well, I've been playing the viola since I was about 10 years old. Currently, I'm in orchestra at my HS. (Big ups to Mr. Weil....WHOO!) Writing is another interest of mine. It's very relaxing for me. Short stories are my forte. I also love to cook, especially pasta (Almost every time I go out to eat, I order pasta. I LOVE Italian food)! Since I'm a music junkie, my goal is to learn how to play as many instruments as I can....so, I own a bass guitar; I plan on actually learning how to play it (Hate to say it, but I've been procrastinating on learning how to play it, TEE, HEE!). Many people don't consider the bass guitar a girl's instrument, but like I said, I'm not your average teen. I like to daydream and fantasize about what my life would be like back in the 60's; I'm a very curious person....so I'm always interested in how things work. I consider myself a thinker...always interested in things, no matter how unusual. Oh, and I'm a collector of Ed Sullivan DVDs and LPs.

Movies:

I watch mostly comedies, romantic movies, and films about legendary recording artists. The Temptations is my favorite movie of all time! (Actually, when I was younger, I used to watch it EVERY SINGLE DAY...not kidding!) Monster-In-Law, Roll Bounce, Talk to Me, Hancock, and Cooley High are awesome movies too! I don't watch much TV, but on occasions, I watch Family Guy, Hey Arnold! (Yeah, I know what you're thinking...Hey Arnold???), Spongebob, Fairly Oddparents, Everyday Italian, Down-Home Cooking w/ the Neelys, 30 Minute Meals, The George Lopez Show, As Told by Ginger (Hate that it got canceled!), Good Times, and the Best of Sooooooooul Train.

Music:

Well, I live in the home of Stax records, so it's pretty natural for me to love Stax. MOTOWN IS THE GREATEST SUB-GENRE OF MUSIC E-V-E-R!!! (I felt the need to put it in all caps 'cause I LURVE, LURVE, LURVE Motown). I like to listen to doo-wop, 50's and 60's pop, disco, old school hip-hop, and some 60's rock, like Janis Joplin, the Kinks, the Beatles, Jefferson Airplane, the Mamas and the Papas, and the Young Rascals. Some of my favorite artists include the Temptations, (as if you haven't noticed already), the Supremes, Marvin Gaye, (heck, let's just say 90% of all the Motown artists!) Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Sam Cooke, The Shirelles, Sam and Dave, Roberta Flack, Rose Royce, Rufus ft. Chaka Khan, EW and F, Digable Planets, the 5th Dimension, A Tribe Called Quest, Michael Jackson
