Realeyes was created by the Ohio Optometric Association (OOA) and funded by the Ohio Department of Health Save Our Sight fund as a service to Ohio students.
Realeyes consists of fun, interactive lessons about eye health and safety, including vision care, led by a local eye doctor at no cost to Ohio schools, health fairs, camps and community centers.
The doctor provides all lesson materials including visual aids, a comical video, vision simulation tools, activity sheets and prizes for each student.
The OOA works with schools and eye doctors to schedule Realeyes presentations so children learn the value of good eye care.
