Therefore assuming something understood this fundamental stage they would be perhaps omniscient. your argument is based on the idea this is reality..we understand reality and on theories which at the moment are considered the best explanation. (linking back to the idea of God being the best model we have). Just because one day a Gap will be filled.. which I have total faith it will. God is still the best explanation therefore in my opinion it is not irrational. But can be a rational assumption.

The big bang was not an 'explosion' and we know pretty well exactly how things came about as a result of 100% natural processes. No need for a god or God or gods. I try to take away the delusions in others created by fear and indoctrination. You can pray but rest assured you are only talking to yourself.
