SocialMediaGroup (all-one-word) is a cross-disciplinary collaborative interested in cultural products and processes that question and critique societal constructs while creating hybrid experiments and experience from intradisciplinary research. As such, we engage in research programs with varied, even amateurish interests that range from sociopolitical and economic theory to instances of cultural resistance and critical enactments. We explore innovations in ecological theory, network theory and new media praxis. As artists, cultural commentators, researchers and scholars, we seek a discourse rich in multidimensional thinking. We seek to locate a new understanding of artist, scholar, educator and citizen.
