I didn't suddenly start speaking.......I've been speaking my whole life. Started attending deaf ed schools at the age of 2 to work on speech and things like that. Not sure why you regret clicking on my blog......I explain all this there :(

Okay, so back in September I had my first Esteem Implant activated. Yesterday I had the second one activated! I'm now hearing in 'stereo sound'!!!!...

Actually, some insurances do cover it and BCBS has started to cover it in 4 states so far. Also, if you work for AT&T, they cover it door to door. Hopefully this will start the flow, and more will get on board :) That was my main goal, to get insurance to start covering the device.
