Just got a Technics Quarts ddt SL 1200mk2, and I have a lot of questions really. first of all It came with a worn out needle called "ortofon pro" a silver gray litlle thing that I could pull right of the cartridge called "ortofon LM". the cartridge is mounted on this other bit that can be removed from the rest of the tone arm. This piece however has got the "technics" logo on it. Which models of ortofon needles will fit the ortofon LM cartridge? can i use a whole lot of different "cartridge holders" on this tone arm? I have no clue when it comes to phonographs.
