Shortly after the Yom Kippur War in 1973, I was inspired to sing the Songs of Zion. My first song was "Jerusalem of Gold" (Yerushalayim Shel Zahav) written by Israel's top songwriter Naomi Shemer. Since living in Israel since 1980, I have worked and performed with many bands. At present I am forming a band called "Zemer Atik" - a Hebraic free style featuring songs and music based on the ancient Hebrew Scriptures with acoustical drums, percussion and voice.
