It all began with a couple of beers back in 2002! Eddie met with former drummer Kári, mistaking him for someone else and shortly after they were in a basement jamming their favourite songs. They then began switching in-between different band members hoping to find the perfect line-up! It wasn't until May 2003 that singer Mikkjal Gaard Hansen joined the band. SIC finally had a voice!
SIC began writing songs and playing concerts every now and then. But something wasn't clicking. Then in February 2005 Vocalist Mikkjal and Guitarist Eddie decided to part ways with the band members at the time and went on a search for new members to join SIC. It didn't take long until Mikkjal and Eddie found the 3 persons that now along with them define the very true core of what is SIC!
SIC began writing new songs, but decided to keep classics like Fading and Rough on their set-list, and 2005 turned out to be the year where bonds were created with lots of fun memories from concerts, song writing, rehearsals and... lots of partying! In February Two-Thousand-and-SICx, SIC decided it was time to move on and go make an album! It was now that SIC -- more than ever -- looked deep into them selves to pull out everything they could to create their first album! Together with Karl Anton Klein (RIP) they set out to create the most disturbing record ever in the history of Faroese music! After months of intense writing and hard work SIC were finally ready to enter the studio! In September 2006 SIC went into Jailhouse Studio together with producer Tommy Hansen (Helloween, Hatesphere, DAD, etc) to begin what is now Pandemonium!
This was an exciting time for all of them and the moment they got plugged in they exploded all the **** that they had been holding back all those years out in the face of everyone present! Unfortunately Karl Anton Klein did not live to see the dream become a reality. He died at an age of only 45 -- one week before SIC were scheduled to begin.
This is just the beginning!
