North London Karate Club & Shoto organisation. Founded by Sensei Michael Randall, MBE.
These videos are extracts from Master Michael Randall's and Master Roger Hall's VHS-based Karate series, originally filmed in 1980. Sensei Randall, now an 8th Dan and once a pupil of Master Hirokazu Kanazwa, teaches traditional Shotokan Karate in Muswell Hill and at Winchmore Hill, North London. At present the club has a core membership of around 20 to 30 members who train regularly. The club meets for Kihon (basics) and Kumite (sparring) every Thursday evening at 8pm at Our Lady of Muswell School, Muswell Hill and Kata (forms) training is on Sundays at 11am. At Winchmore Hill, the club meets at 8pm Tusedays for Kihon and Kumite and Wednesday evenings at 8pm for Kata.
The club welcomes any individual at any age who would like to train. Anyone interested in learning Karate or finding out more can visit our website:
