The Shizumi Kodomo Dance Troupe (SKDT), based in Washington DC, first came together in 2000 for the White House Millennium Celebration—and has been dancing ever since. While focusing on traditional Japanese dance, our dancers are young, ethnically diverse, and exemplify what is best about our world.
