The Story of the Shattered Worlds Mod
For eons humanity has waged wars. From the first pages of recorded history, humans have imposed untold hardships and struggles upon each other. Starting with the first primitive man who wielded a rock with the intention to harm another, this curse was passed down from generation to generation. Be it cause, country or just petty greed humans have always found it easy to pick up arms against one another this is why the Sirius sector is now our home.

Five Months from it's initial release on August 8th 2008, Shattered Worlds now has a 1600+ character count on its server and forum. Currently Shattered Worlds is one of the most active Freelancer Server by the official Hamburg City top server site and server activity is increasing daily. In order to ensure continued success and sustain this growth cycle, the Server Staff began a series of improvements to provide the best possible experience for players.

The long awaited Shattered Worlds Freelancer mod has been released. A talented DevTeam from over 6 different Freelancer communities have gathered to work on this ambitious project. Collectively, the team combined modding knowledge and lessons learned from numerous mods/servers, they picked the best concepts from from other mods; which were implemented, improved and further expanded. The entire game has been overhauled from the ground up to create a cutting edge balance scheme. The DevTeam also added hundreds of weapons/equipment items, and added over 60 new ships many of which are exclusive to the mod. The end result is one of the most balanced and highest quality Freelancer modifications ever conceived. If you are a new player or an old player tired of normal Freelancer mods, Shattered Worlds has something for you. Come, try it for yourself.
