Singer-songwriter Shantell Ogden is no stranger to hard work. Growing up on a farm & singing while riding horses with her father & grandfather, she matured into a hit-the-pavement-running songwriter. She found her voice in 2000, when she began writing & performing in a songwriters' group. She released two indie albums, in 2001 & 2002. She booked her own tour up & down the East Coast in 2002 & again in 2003 on her way to Berklee College of Music, graduating in 2005.
She moved to Nashville to become a songwriter, working day jobs to pay the bills & laying the groundwork for success. She worked with some of Nashville's finest songwriters & session players & released two well-reviewed albums--Water Through Stone (2008), followed by Stories Behind Songs (2011). With a single in 2011 on the Music Row Charts, & "Great American Song" in 2012, performed by Acklen Park & on the rise on the Music Row Breakout Chart, Ogden's songs have been in rotation on more than 145 radio stations nationwide.
