I did a lot of work today that I may or may not use. Probably 5 or 6 different TAKES, all with different costumes and all trying to explore cleaning up my diction, which unbeknownst to me has been getting sloppy as I try to whisper for my neighbors and so that there are no popping sounds from getting so close to my computer camera. I feel somewhat lost right now, I think there is only so much you can do ... my first sign that I might be losing my creative edge, as I'm an actor who loves to say that I do everything different, every time I do it. Well, of course as a good actor, you want to explore making the text fresh and spontaneous each and every time. And that is the trick... that we actors have to play on ourselves ... as Jack Stehlin said in class one time. I really miss not getting to work with my acting company, just because of lack of money. But, life goes on and I'm so grateful for all the opportunities this project has brought to light. I hope you continue to enjoy all the different genres of music that I am underscoring my Hamlets with. Its been a pleasure to bring you my very favorite 'New' bands as well as introduce some of you to music that you might not listen to. Something really remarkable has been having a fan from YouTube feature me on his channel and also take one of my tracks and place it over his own editing. Brandon ...

An Actor Prepares

I have to thank everyone who supports me in my creative venture.

HAMLET 365 TAKE 300 ... WOW

I feel like I still have SO much to learn about every part of this process of filmmaking. But reaching for and expressing my 'path with heart' is something that i have to thank my guru for. Mark Griffin has taught me the bliss of 'breathing with intention' and has shored up the missing parts of my life. Congruent is a word that comes to mind. Having been an undiagnosed bi-polar for the first 39 years of my life, time brought me many trials when it came to the different performing productions I've been a part of. But now, having recognized the reality of a simple chemical imbalance that can be taken care of through therapy, medicine ... and most of all, through meditation ... it has brought me to the point of being able to share my story and to live fully in my creativity. I hope you enjoy playing Skip around Hamlet and watch how I have sometimes transformed myself into the film actor that I am becoming. I appreciate everyone that I have inspired on this journey. Your emails and support has made this journey so rich. Thank you.

I have some wonderful news. I was invited into a master class and to join Circus Theatricals acting studio ensemble under the direction of Jack Stehlin.

Working with him in my callback, I cherish the space he helped create in those few minutes with his invaluable direction. This guy is the real deal !!!

Well, I couldn't help adding the potato crunch on my video this time... partly because I couldn't stop laughing at it and partly to share my humor, which has always been irreverent.
