In your wanderings and travels:

What do you think of the "Listeroids" for sale out there as generator units? There is alot of video out there but no real information.. I realize they are indian made.. Heard anything? Alittle news please.

Hi, assume you mean the 8 cylinder Allen. Built in 1943 as a standby generating set. 260 kva 3 pase 440 volt.

More engines =) they are really cool, these artifacts of industrial development. Especially that BIG engine showed in the clip from a TV program about the museum. I'd guess that the large engine is a propulsion engine or a generator set? Was it before turbocharging became common?
