Don't get me wrong, Mike Ness is a legend, he's written a ton of great tunes. It does seem odd, though that these songs are so similar given the fact that both the Descendents and Social Distortion germinated at the same time in the early 80's Orange County punk scene. Let me know what you think.

OK, Matt Dillon isnt a musician, but he played one in the movies Singles and Grace of my Heart. In Grace of my Heart J. contributes Take a Run at the Sun to the soundtrack, to which Matt lip syncs. J. also has a cameo in the movie, which is equal in quality (and length of camera time) to his cameo in the movie Gas, Food, Lodging.
