All Emma-Lee Moss wanted to do was become a backing singer. Now Emmy the Great, as she is better known, is working on her second studio album having finally released her debut "First Love" last month.
Born in Hong Kong, Emma returned to the city last week for her first ever performance in the city; it was billed as her homecoming Show, and it was also the first time her family had seen her perform.
In this video, Emma tells us about how lucky she feels to have a job that allows her to travel the world and play with her band. She also tells us about growing up in Hong Kong, deciding to pursue a career in music, her album, her stage name and returning to Asia.

It began as a peaceful demonstration.
It ended in violence, with at least 156 people dead and 800 injured, in what is being described as the worst ethnic violence in Xinjiang in more than two decades.
The photos you see here show a city in chaos. On Sunday, July 5th, hundreds of minority Uygers gathered in the streets of Urumqi, capital of Xinjiang, to protest what they say has been decades of discrimination.
The more troubling of images recall the deadly ethnic violence that that flared up in Tibet just a year ago.
It's a stark reminder of the short comings of the central government's Go West development policy, which critics say haven't evenly benefited all ethnic groups in the autonomous region.
The apparent source of the Uygers' anger lay close to Hong Kong. In June, a deadly brawl between Uygur and Han Chinese workers at a Guangdong toy factory left at least two Uygurs dead.
Protestors on Sunday had reportedly demanded an investigation into those killings.
No one is sure why, but the street demonstration turned violent.
Reports indicate violence erupted after police moved into to break up the protests.
Violence begat violence and the protest turned into a riot. Among the dead and injured are both Uygurs and Han Chinese, but hospitals claim the majority of casualties were Han Chinese.
The central government has been quick to condemn the riots, calling the uprising a plot against Communist rule.
The government blames Xinjiang independence groups and in particular the World Uyger Congress, led by businesswoman Rebiya Kadeer.
As of Tuesday, police and soldiers were attempting to restore some semblance of calm to the streets of Urumqi.
But tempers remain high and not even tear gas could deter this group of armed men, bent on revenge.
In Xinjiang, there is little talk of racial reconciliation between Uyger and Han Chinese. Instead they talk of the recriminations and reprisals yet to come.

If there are two politicians who represent both Indonesias dark past as well as the future struggle of its emerging democracy, it is retired generals Prabowo Subianto and Wiranto.
Both Mr Prabowo and Mr Wiranto are hoping to become vice president after tomorrow's election, running with underdog presidential candidates Megawati Sukarnoputri and Jusuf Kalla respectively.
For many detractors at home and abroad, it is just as well that neither camp is being given much chance against the political juggernaut of incumbent President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.

Once restricted to the realm of science fiction, robots are slowly becoming a reality in everyday lives. One such example is the 'Actroid', a humanoid robot developed by Osaka University that is modeled after a young Japanese woman. Several models have been released since the first Actroid was unveiled at the 2003 International Robot Exposition in Tokyo, Japan. They are designed mainly to serve as receptionists answering questions in several different languages or anchors introducing stage acts. In this video, meet the Actroid in Hong Kong as she directs guests around Ocean Park's new 'Empire of the Dinosaurs' attraction.
