"They say the movies should be more like life; I think life should be more like the movies."

"I love quotations because it is a joy to find thoughts one might have, beautifully expressed with much authority by someone recognized wiser than oneself." - Marlene Dietrich

"Be yourself. The world worships the original." - Ingrid Bergman

"If you always do what interest you, at least one person is pleased." - Katharine Hepburn

"Is there anything better than to be longing for something, when you know it is within reach?" - Greta Garbo

"All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." - Walt Disney

"I think the mirror should be tilted slightly upward when it's reflecting life -- toward the cheerful, the tender, the compassionate, the brave, the funny, the encouraging, all those things -- and not tilted down to the gutter part of the time, into the troubled vistas of conflict." - Greer Garson

"Trouble is a sieve through which we sift our acquaintances. Those too big to pass through are our friends." - Arlene Francis

"Old age is a bore, especially when it happens to the young." - Maureen O'Hara
About Me:

Movies and Music are my two greatest passions! Classic movies are closest to my heart, but that doesn't mean I don't like new movies too! :)

These ladies are not only my favorite actresses, but also my heroes and what I strive to be :)
Deborah Kerr, Maureen O'Hara, Greer Garon, Bette Davis, Katharine Hepburn, Barbra Streisand, Meryl Streep, Ava Gardner, Ingrid Bergman, Susan Sarandon, Rita Hayworth, Joan Fontaine, Greta Garbo, Olivia de Havilland, Myrna Loy and many others but I couldn't possible chose one over the other because they are all so different! To me they are all the best there is! :)

And I absolutely LOVE What's My Line? and I'm forever indebted to all these wonderful persons who post WML here on youtube, becasue if it hadn't been for you I would never have seen it, and now I can't imagine my life without it! :D I also love other old game shows, like I've Got a Secret, To Tell the Truth and Match Game :)

Arlene Francis is one of my favorite people ever! She was just fantastic in every way! :D Some other of my favorite "tv personalities" include Kitty Carlisle, Jayne Meadows, Betty White and Brett Somers :)

I know! Too many stars to keep track of! What a great gathering! *dreaming*
If you where wondering where this piece was from, check the 1974 show 'That's Entertainment!', you can find it there! I almost fell of my chair when I first saw it, especially seeing Deborah!

Hi! Sara can you help?. While going through Radiation treatment, two summers ago, I saw a WWI War/Comedy set in Paris 1919 at the ritz.Four soldiers, friends, meet a "Ditsy" blonde with a funny voice who stays there. They hang around, all of them like her, but at the end "one" soldier is shot and the others flee from the city.I would love to know what this film is, I recently had surgery, and see it again. Thanks for your time, david
