Sambat Trust, in partnership with the non-profit organization Books for the Barrios, works with rural communities in the Philippines to establish public elementary school libraries. We believe that strengthening education is a key element in empowering young Filipinos to improve their own socioeconomic conditions, and break the cycle of poverty in the country.
