For me, Streets of London epitomises UK Folk music of the 1960's. I love it! It isn't everyone's favourite, but undeniably this touching protest song evokes a response. Ironically, Ralph McTell thought it too depressing to be included on his debut album. Thankfully, it made it on to his Spiral Staircase album of 1969. Wouldn't the world have been a poorer place without its release! Answer to a FAQ: my guitar is a Fylde Magician. Visit Fylde guitars at www.fyldeguitars.com
I got a "This website is no longer available" at you site. Do you make records? And if so, what room do you record them in? You're the best kitchen singer I've heard in quite some time.
"Autumn leaves" is beautiful ! Intimate and graceful, melancholical of course ! You sang it so softly, so deeply implicated : I would give the ***** if I only could ! Thanks for sharing !
As a comment to your "Melancholy Galliard - Renaissance Lute" video, I think the background noise, specifically the fire crackling, adds an atmosphere to your song. beautifully done, as always.
your Streets of London is awesome (also great acoustics in the kitchen) ;-)
