doodoo clearly has never heard of orgasmic birth, let alone the truths of natural birth. What a sad, vulgar person. Pity him/her. Probably had a very hard childhood and birth.

doodood101 is obviously male and therefore has NO idea what a woman's body is capable of, nor what normal labour and birth should be like.
Of course, CS are an important part of obstetrical care; but should only be used in emergency situations. It's major surgery and should not be treated lightly. If it can be avoided, it should...I believe that was the whole point of this video. I don't understand how one can compare going through labour and vaginal birth to CS. The aftermath and potentially harmful side-effects of CS definately outweigh the almost euphoric state of 'forgotten' pain after a normal birth. Great Video...we need more like this one circulating to address and publicize this growing & scary trend of CS. |

Also, having had a Cesarean myself, I am qualified to say that having your stomach and insides SLICED OPEN is not a mild discomfort.

There's a reason why their user name is doodoo.
Anyway, I think you will always have uninformed people who do not understand birth, women's physiology, and the emotional and physical impact Cesarean often (not always, but often) leaves in its wake. None of us natural childbirth advocates say that Cesarean shouldn't ever happen, or that we don't appreciate medical intervention when it truly does solve, rather than create, a problem. However, people will read into our efforts whatever they want to. You've done a great video. Don't let the jerks get you down! C. |

So we should forget that modern medicine has significantly reduced the rate of complications, development of co-morbidities and death and take a huge step back and 'trust our bodies' ???
What a fucking load of crap !! Cesarean Sections have their place in our advanced and modern world and have helped to prevent all of the above when in past times, those mothers and children could have been severely disabled or dead. As for the whining about incisional pain ???? Make up your mind, are you able to deal with the incredible pain of labor without an epidural 'like your mother, or your grandmother did... or nature intended you to' or not ? And if so, then get over the comparably mild discomfort of a 10-15cm incision across your lower belly and cherish your wonderful, healthy and vibrant new baby and stop being such a fucking baby yourself. Absolutely moronic manner to present an argument. |

everyone has different experiences. no one here is saying that c-section shouldn't be a choice because in certain circumstances it does need to be done for both the life of the mother and child. and as for the abdominal pain, some get it, some dont. future mothers (like myself) should know every possible outcome.
