I like to post youtube videos to raise awareness for those of us that are disabled. I run channels to raise disability awareness. I also run a MySpace page, MySpace group, a Twitter account, and have a personal FaceBook page.

Some current info. about me:

I am:

25% Sicilian
25% Neapolitan
and 50% Irish

So yeah, the whole Southern Italian and Irish thing.

I was born with Tourette Syndrome, OCD, ADHD, and evidence of a mood disorder. I would like to give back to our community because of what I have experienced. When I grew up in the early to mid-80s, as a young kid, we didn't have much disability awareness. I am not physically disabled, but rather, I have a neurological, emotional, mood, and mental disability. I try not to let others confuse all the above with being handicapped physically.

People ask me, "Why do you consider yourself disabled?" Truth is, I consider any deviation from the norm a disability: a symptom, tic, disorder, or mental/neurological/physical condition.

Having a disability has many different variations, feelings, efforts, and experiences; it should not be limited to people only seeing physical disorders as the "TRUE" disability. Although, there will always be people that have it worse off than others. The best thing we can do is learn to function in life and do the best that we can =P
