About Ryan Youens

I am a freelance music composer, copyist and arranger based in Auckland, New Zealand.

I have worked across a range of genres during six years of professional experience, from film and television to contemporary classical, with many leading composers and ensembles and always with proven success and client satisfaction.

I also hold Bachelor of Music (Otago University) and Master of Music (New Zealand School of Music) degrees. My recent work includes a new commission for the Auckland Symphony Orchestra, typesetting five new works by Michael Norris, and I was the music copyist for the 2011 Rugby World Cup Opening Ceremony.
