At the ripe old age of 15, Ruthie finished writing her first three songs. After writing the songs, Ruthie co-produced the tracking, as well as, sang all the background vocals. When a demo of these three songs was listed in L.A.'s MUSIC CONNECTION'S TOP 25 DEMOS OF 2005, and Ruthie was listed in the TOP 100 UNSIGNED ARTISTS OF 2005, she became the youngest submitter to have broken the TOP 25 in both categories.


Ruthie has sung with stars for international dignitaries and Beverly Hills notables at celebrity charity functions such as U.N.I.C.E.F., TSUNAMI RELIEF, AND OPERATION SMILE.
Ruthie has stratospheric pleasure in writing and entertaining. Ruthie says, "I was born to write and sing for people-to tell their stories as well as my own. That's what I want to accomplish."

The stories in Ruthie's songs frequently describe issues and articulate new ways of solving problems by, empowerment.

In "WORK TOGETHER", Ruthie reflects on the downward spiral of the world impacted by personal and state war, but points out that rock music can play a unique role in giving new ideas voice, such as helping individuals to mobilize into like-minded groups that can instigate changes in the world.

In GROOVE TO THE MUSIC, those in and out of sync with larger society are encouraged to hold their heads up, put their spin on history, and reach for all that they've dreamed, because by being part of the musical world around them, they are brought together with others in a new solidarity that enables success.

Ruthie's power ballad, "WILL SHE," is designed to communicate that individuals can also be a significant source of help to others.

"SO YOU WANT MY LOVE" is a reality check that relationships aren't easy and bluntly asks if the other person has what it takes to make them happy.

"NO MORE LIES" is a jovial presentation of a girl/woman's assessment that her life will go badly if she continues in an untruthful relationship, and that self-empowerment will alter her course.

In the funky song "STOP RIGHT THERE", Ruthie has a frisky hobby of stopping guys in the street to take pictures of their hair. Ruthie was inspired to write this song after she fell in love with Sly and the Family Stone's song, "HAIR."

May 2007, Ruthie decided she'd like to be the lead guitarist in any band backing her. She started playing the guitar at that time and added to her list of notable venues which included The Wyndham Belage (W. Hollywood), the Regent Beverly Wilshire (Beverly Hills), The Madison Theatre (Covington, KY), The Key Club (W. Hollywood), and Antones (Austin).

By late summer 2007, Ruthie provided both lead guitar and vocal support to her newest material and her country of origin, Lebanon, in performances while touring with the EuroRock 2007 Rockin' the World for Peace Tour. EuroRock 2007 was made up of 14 bands from all over the world that came together as one to rock the conversation about peace.

As a teen steeped in American rock 'n' roll, Ruthie reflects the varied world around her in fiery and catchy melodies under girded by urban funk vibes reminiscent of the 1970's and driven by screaming soulful blues rock guitar. She merges hot American rock tradition with cool modernity because she says her generation of listener will not be restricted in the category and age of music to which they listen, as long as it speaks to them personally. Ruthie says, "My desire is to write and record what people can relate to and listen to over and over. I constantly strive to improve my craft." Ruthie's music is a collection of tightly interwoven musical styles reflecting a typical young woman's raw and unedited view of her world.
