Künstler, DJ, Konzeptionist und Botschafter - Richie Hawtin beweist mehr als sonst jemand, dass er in der elektronischen Music Szene ein wahrer Innovator ist. Er ist auf der Bühne mehr als ein Live- Act denn als ein DJ anzusehen, da er neben seinen Turntables mit weiteren Effekt-Geräten herum zaubert. 2006 ist es der in Zusammenarbeit mit Richie Hawtin und Enzo Cosimi erschaffene Titel „9:20", der bei der Eröffnungsgala der Olympischen Winterspiele für freudige Stimmung sorgt. Für die im März 2006 in Berlin stattgefindende Ausstellung „min2max" produziert Richie den minimalistischen Soundtrack. Immer bemüht, Kunst mit Techno zu verbinden, beweist er stets aufs Neue, dass Techno nicht nur Tanzmusik ist.

Synopsis:
