Metallica - Français Pour Une Nuit ("French For One Night") is a live DVD by the American heavy metal band Metallica, recorded in Nîmes, France in the Arena of Nîmes on July 7, 2009. It was released in three formats. A standard DVD in a digipak including a 16-page booklet, a Blu-ray, also in a digipak with the booklet and a deluxe limited edition box set including the DVD, a copy of Death Magnetic on CD, a T-shirt, laminated pass, and five exclusive photos. Despite only being issued in France, it has been imported in sufficient quantity to be considered a regular release.
Guns N' Roses - Use Your Illusion I is a live VHS/DVD by Guns N' Roses. Filmed live at the Tokyo Dome, Japan on February 22, 1992 during the Japanese leg of the Use Your Illusion tour, this recording features the first half of the concert, the second half appearing on sister volume Use Your Illusion II. The VHS titles were distributed by Geffen Home Video in 1992. The concert was originally recorded by Japan Satellite Broadcasting, Inc. for a programme to be aired on their TV channel, and that programme is split between the two DVDs. The songs "Pretty Tied Up", "Don't Cry", and the second part of "Patience" from this event were used in the band's 1999 live album Live Era: '87-'93. Metallica - Orgullo, Pasión y Gloria: Tres Noches en la Ciudad de México or Orgulho, Paixão e Glória: Três Noites na Cidade do México, in the Brazilian version, ("Pride, Passion and Glory: Three Nights in Mexico City") is a live video and album by the American heavy metal band Metallica, recorded at Foro Sol, Mexico City, Mexico on June 4, 6 and 7, 2009. It was supposed to be released in Latin America only, but it's also available in Northern Europe. The record was released in four formats: * A DVD containing 19 tracks, * A Blu-ray of the DVD * A digipak with the DVD and two CD's, * A deluxe version in a slipcase with two DVDs and two CDs. It will also feature interviews with the band members and all the credits in Spanish (and Portuguese for Brazil). On September 22, 2010, the deluxe version was released in Japan containing the two DVDs and two SHM-CDs.
Iron Maiden: Flight 666 is a concert documentary film featuring the British heavy metal band Iron Maiden. The film follows the band on the first leg of their Somewhere Back in Time World Tour between February and March 2008.
Flight 666 is co-produced by Toronto-based Banger Films, Inc, known for their documentaries Metal: A Headbanger's Journey, Global Metal and Rush: Beyond the Lighted Stage. The film was shot in high-definition video with accompanying 5.1 surround sound produced by Kevin Shirley (who has worked with the band since their 2000 album Brave New World). It was distributed by EMI (except in the U.S., where it was distributed by Universal Music Group) in select digital theatres on April 21, 2009.
