When I tried to deep fry the donuts, it deepfried the outside but not the inside (it was all gooey...might get salmonella poisoning lol). What is wrong? Should I make them thinner?

Hello Nico, fist of all let me say that your Videos are awesome...I seem to have a probem with perfecting the lemon meringue pie...Its my second try now and I CANT for the life of me get the white stuff to rise! it always mixes with the lemon filling!!!! PLEASE HELP!!
