I would like to make a point about "Social" and "Economic" libertarianism.

In a truly free society they are inseparable. Ron Paul does a good job of outlining exactly what this means. If you ascribe to one side more than the other, then it's basically a conventional party system. The "left" has traditionally held the social libertarian view, while the "right" the economic.
The main problem with this division is the fact that the very division and contemplation of which liberty faction is more important implies the right of government to restrict them. Government, upon establishing basic local level laws, would be best utilized by the people as a liberty protector, not personal belief enforcer (hence infringer). It is a little ironic that the governments sole purpose is the protection of individual liberty, yet we are forced to use outside groups such as ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union) to monitor/curtail the government...

that means you go down to the junk yard or whereever and get that cool bmw or older suv that you've always wanted(that has a ruined engine) and you spend about 3,000 dollars for the electric batteries and extra parts.

no more asshole mechanics to deal with. 7 dollars a month to recharge.

That's not really fair to NH cops, most NH cops are not like Nazis...Nazis would just kill you or put you in a concentration camp. They do enforce a lot of victimless crime laws and ruin a lot of harmless lives. That's the biggest reason I sometimes noncooperate.

Also some do need to calm down about being videotaped while performing their duties. But if more of us respectfully make it a matter of routine that is probably what will happen.

I think if about half the people in this country had 1/16th (roughly) of your passion we would have a much healthier political system and government. And please understand that I consider myself to be a socialist and many (but not all) of your views are entirely antithetical to mine.

They say you get the government you deserve. No, not "you" personally but "you" the society. Unfortunately the vast majority of Americans are either uneducated, uninformed, or just don't care and our government is an accurate representation of that.
