My name is Shenole Latimer and I'm a New York based saxophonist who draws influences from Dan Faulk, Michael Brecker, Kenny Garrett, Dexter Gordon, and a bunch of others. I've won awards (1999 Long Island Voice "Best Horn Player" Award), received endorsements (Vandoren Woodwind Products), and I'm signed to a record label from Dortmund, Germany called Tierra Records. If there's anything anybody needs to know about me, it's that I LOVE being on stage and performing in front of people. However, aside from the obvious joy I get from performing music and practicing, I also enjoy traveling, kayaking, and watching Sci-Fi movies with my wife Renee. One day, I hope to go to flight school, become a pilot and add flying to my list of hobbies.
