they have lost millions of dollars over last 40+ years, by perpetuating this illogical American idea of right-hand retrieve multipliers, (I knew guy who used to work for ABU before they came Abu-Garcia, who said it was American idea just to be different, and there wasnt any choice in 1970-2000-people just accepted it!)
why do 95% of fishermen use left-hand fixed spool reels? Why because it is natural
The same principles of casting and retrieving should apply when using multipliers- no?
I fear for people pumping fish with their weaker arm (left arm), and their stronger arm (mostly RIGHT) just winding in ! its crazy! you could give people heart attacks putting unnecessary pressure on weaker left side?
I am a campaigner for left hand wind multipliers, and I would sack all market research people at PENN reels
if I had my way!
