This film still stands tall (head and shoulders above) modern day space films in terms of atmosphere and special effects. It oozes sophistication and boasts a fantastic storyline. In my opinion it is the visuals that make this film really stand out. I have edited a short film to illustrate the beauty of the shots in this film. It shows that no matter how long these hot-shot computer geeks practice on their shitty maya etc animation programs, they will never come close to having the skill and talent that was required back in 1968. The models, animations, lighting and shots are faultless in every way.

A little euro dance remix/edit i put together of this amazing Italian record by the band 'Dari'. I completely remade the low freq bandwidth with a new kickdrum and bass synth as well as added a few percussion additions and a dj friendly intro and outro. I felt that though the original version has that lovely live feeling about it, but in order for the track to really work a commercial club dancefloor it would reuire a bit more power in the low frequencies. Other adjustments were with a little eq, compression and tweeking with reverb on the HF.
