This short story The Partridges Elves is a kind of introduction of my return to the fable.
In the past, fables were probably the most enjoyable way of learning, especially those with moral concepts and those with egotistical caricatures of gods, monarchs and phantasms. Cervantes great fable, Don Quixote, is an example of this. Lets think how many characters the book continues illuminating every day and how many of these characters would be queuing at this very moment to save the world. And how many elves would be ready to administer to them the act of communion. Just hear them saying, What kind of hosts were those!

Esta corta historia, Los Duendes de las Perdices, como una introducción de mi regreso a la fabula.
En tiempos pasados las fabulas fueron probablemente la manera mas divertida de aprendizaje. Especialmente aquellas de conceptos morales, con ese tipo de ego caricatura de ficción y misterio del ser racional, su poderío de ingenios, dioses, reyes y fantasmas. Por ejemplo la gran fabula de Cervantes, Don Quijote de la Mancha. Pensemos, cuantos caracteres ilumina el libro a diario, y a como están los tiempos, imaginémonos cuantos de estos caracteres estarán haciendo cola, ahora mismo, para salvar el mundo. Y cuantos duendes estarán dispuestos para administrarles el servicio de comunión, tan solo por oírles decir ¡Que hostias fueron aquellas! (less info)
