It ain't worth doin, IMHO. I have many interests, never just one so there is always something interesting to film and upload. I'm on Ravelry! Find me under username C4G! My interests have changed & I am now learning Watercolor Painting. So fiber arts have pretty much taken a back seat.
Name:Rexie
Age:31
I am a Goddess worshiping, tree huggin, environmentally conscious, crafting fanatic. My crafting interests are many and change often. I usually bounce from craft to craft as the inspiration hits. At the moment, I am learning Watercolor Painting. I used to really love buying raw fleece to clean and prepare myself. It's still a connection to the old ways I very much enjoy not to mention I really do not mind the smell of sheep poo! Smells rather nice to me, so I figure I must have had them around me in a previous life. I love to read and Feminine Theology is one of my favorite subjects. The many and varied feminine based religions from all over the world fascinate me to no end. How did they come about and why is a question I ponder most often. It amazes me how so many varied cultures still survive in a day and age when many Christian paths still seeks to stamp out all other religions and call itself Supreme Ruler of all. Thankfully, this has not happened nor will it ever. There is enough room in this world for all religions of all sorts.

www.thehuntforgollum.com - Official Site Independent Online Cinema presents an unofficial and free high-concept Lord of the Rings prequel made for under $5,000. The film remains true to the style of Peter Jackson's films and the world of J.R.R. Tolkien telling how Aragorn tracked down Gollum between The Hobbit & The Fellowship of the Ring.
The film achieved over 1 million views in the first week of release in May 2009. (Dailymotion) and wide press acclaim for it's high production values on a microbudget.
This Youtube version is slightly extended with 1 scene added back in.

I have not worked on anything other than a Pat Green so I could not tell you. (I get this question a lot!) My advice to you is try before you buy. If you cannot try, ask for the return policy. I'd wait till the next fiber fair comes around your neck of the woods if there are not fiber shops around you, and try them out there.
OHHHHH WHOA IS ME!!! Ok, chickie, here's my prob, I can afford a Pat Greene!!! BUT I can afford a Strauch Petite... what have you heard about them? Can it do anything I throw at it, like silk and alpaca to icelandic and lincoln longwool? Please say yes, please say yes... well, wait, say no if it can't or if you've heard problems with them...
