New York Departure, December 2006.

Plenty of "Happppppy Holidays", departing "Amerrrrrrricans", and even one "Embrrrrrrraer Jet". Gotta love the ATCO's way of speaking, very original and entertaining.

Laptime is 1.39.3 - Clean flying lap except three notable mistakes which surely added a second to my laptime. I had fuel onboard for about 15 laps, medium slicks on the rear and soft on the front. I changed the gear ratios and made some tuning on the suspension, otherwise it's a basic setup. Simulation mode, no driving aids except autocluch.
Why I use more fuel than required: the car is simply too fast in turns with low fuel and that amount of grip is extreamly unrealistic. BTW, lap record with a touring car on the real track is about 1.41 (Saleen SR-7).

LOWI Innsbruck Approach and Landing rennes6 - 4,097 views - 1 year ago
Approach and landing at Innsbruck (LOWI) using the LLZ/DME east approach for runway 26, and visual circling to runway 08.

Landing at LOWI is quite interesting. The LLZ/DME (or LOC/DME) east approach for runway 26 starts at the RTT (Rattenberg) NDB, 26 nm from LOWI. Leaving RTT on a heading of 210 degrees, descend to 9500 feet MSL and intercept the OEV localizer at 21 nm DME. At 18.2 DME, start the descent with the localizer, which has a 5 degree offset from the runway 26 centerline. Check your distance and altitude at 16, 14, 12, 10, 8 nm DME. At the AB (Absam) NDB 6.3 nm DME (4400 feet MSL), continue visually. Expect BARO minimums between 3900-4400 feet depending on you category and maximum climb gradient. If you are landing on runway 26, just continue straight ahead. If you like challenges, do the visual circling for runway 08. At the AB NDB, turn left to a heading 230 degrees, descend to 3700 feet, and fly towards the INN NDB. Before you reach the mountains :), turn right to a heading of 265 degrees, and fly this heading until OEV 3.2 nm DME (you will find power lines below you, heading the same direction). Turn right for a very short base, start descending, align yourself with the runway centerline and land.
In Innsbruck, it doesn't matter if you're a bit high, it's much worse if you're too low!

Boeing 737 visual approach and landing.

4000 feet - time to go visual, 31L. Or maybe a bit late?
Take the F/O's seat and enjoy this 'instant' visual approach way down to Ferihegy.

Boeing 737 landing in thunderstorm.

The last seconds of an ILS APP for RW31R at Ferihegy Airport (Budapest, Hungary - LHBP - BUD) in a heavy late autumn thunderstorm. Here you can observe how hard you have to 'fight your yoke' to land safely in stormy weather conditions. Winds: 285 at 25, gusts to 40 (runway hdg: 310deg) - heavy turbulence, moderate windshears, expecially on short final. I like the default 737s for practicing and for having fun, although I mostly fly with PMDG 737NGs.

LHBP Ferihegy Virtual Landing B733 rennes6 - 7,826 views - 2 years ago
Boeing 737 landing at Ferihegy Airport.

A virtual landing using runway 31L at Ferihegy Airport (ICAO LHBP, IATA BUD), Budapest, Hungary. There was some turbulence and medium wind conditions on final so I had to use a steeper descent angle from about 400 FT (as you can see on the PAPI). The virtual aircraft is Wilco's Boeing 737-300. (Ignore the illuminated master caution light, due to I used playback to record the video with Fraps and the warning suddenly illuminated because of the off scheduled descent the aircraft's pressurization system have had noticed).
