	redshift40 (1 month ago) petmycatwiththose - It is nice to finally see some activity on old Sol. It is about time! I watched the sun for a few hours on the 2nd and 3rd of June. The 2 large spots were circled by many small ones. It was a very complex looking group. The next peek (Solar Cycle 24) should occur in May 2013. I don't think many people think about the Sun, so it's not really news. It might news to the few astronomers that can observe it directly? The spots today are breaking up rapidly. Best regards,
	petmycatwiththose (1 month ago) Solar activity is increasing, ham radio operators are noticing 10 meter band opening up again. they then can talk around the world better. there waiting for this cycle of solar activity, every 12 to 14 years , its coming now, news is not informing people, but ham operators know..

	redshift40 (4 months ago) nsajja - the object in that video can't be a meteor. It is simply not going fast enough. Also, it must have been very close for you to hear a sound at all. You could calculate the distance from impact to the time you hear the sound. It is roughly 343 meters per second, depending on the air temp.
	nsajja (4 months ago) No i am not joking. That video is 100% real. But i am not sure if it is a meteorite. But some burning boulder i have watched and filmed till hit the ground. Watch the full footage and you can hear the loud thud at the end. But how far away it fell i cant say. Even the police could not find it. I did report to York Regional police. Thank you. Your channel is interesting. I too love astronomy and always look up the space.
