About Me:

Cradle's initial beginnings started in August of 1998 when Sam "The Blade" Lage and Craig "CB" Batchelder began collaborating and writing their own original songs. Craig and Sam soon hooked up with Todd Heller in October of 1998 who added another dimension to their work as well as some of his own songs hence Cradle was established. After a few years of diligently practicing their originals, Craig, Sam and Todd began recording their songs at Mosca Studios in Clayton, Ca. Shortly after recording started, their drummer and bass player decided to pursue other avenues leaving this project. Craig, Sam and Todd stayed on target and finished the album. Soon after completion of the CD Frank Fabsits (bass guitar) and Larry Barron (drums) joined the band establishing a new Cradle rhythm section. Frank and Larry give the band a harder edge as both have a hard rock affirmation for sonic bombastic. With the completion of Cradle's debut album Insane CD in May of 2002 and new rhythm section, the boys are marketing their CD and working hard getting some radio "air-time" as well as booking live performances. Cradle has opened up for the following National Acts: Sammy Hagar, Mary Wilson and The Supremes, Foghat, Michael Schenker / MSG, Great White, Edgar Winter, Ronnie Montrose, Pat Travers, George Lynch / Lynch Mob, Dave Meniketti ( of Y & T ), Jefferson Starship, and Molly Hatchet. Keep your eyes and ears open because "The Cradle will Rock!"
