this song or hymn is sang on Sunday during Mass only when some one of the Assyrian family has passed away. Funerals have there own songs/hymns for example "Shlammah Um Kho" is sang at a funeral as well as many others and "Shookha L'ow Qallah" is sang on the 3rd day

ericbl88 assyrian is the modern language we speak today and aramaic is ancient language we spoke back in the days of Jesus but we do use the aramaic language in the the Assyrian Church of the East Mass.
as for the tattoo, yes it is correct and keep in mind that we read and write from right to left.
