Economic Martial Law - Considering the current economic and geopolitical conditions, central banks and world governments already have plans in place to declare economic martial law, and "bank holidays" which could be announced at any time..
Battlefield America - With the signing of the National Defense Authorization Act in December, the military can take US citizens away without charges. As such, America has been declared a battlefield. Celente remarks that this has barely been covered by the Mainstream Media.
Invasion of the "Occtupy" - The leaderless Occupy Wall St. movement has multiplied and grown into a "giant, formless creature with tentacles that reach around the globe." Celente sees this as a successful movement, and a mega-trend of the new millennium.
Alternative Energy 2012 - A new crop of exciting energy possibilities are on the horizon. "There's a rumor going out that Home Depot has bought the rights," to a cold fusion type device, as developed by Andrea Rossi in Italy, and that could be a real game changer that lifts up the economy" Celente explains.
Other trends talked about include "affordable sophistication," in which even during economic hardship people crave style and quality, and "Big Brother Internet," where the government may require Internet users to present the equivalent of a driver's license to navigate cyberspace.
He also suggests that the conflict with Iran will heat up, possibly turning into a full-fledged war, now that the US has imposed sanctions on Iran, with no countries being able to buy oil from them.

On this December 29th, 2011 edition of Coast To Coast AM, John B. Wells sits in for George Noory. Wells welcomes back researcher Steve Quayle for the entire program. Quayle discusses disturbing trends in America and globally, the elite's agenda against humanity, as well as how we could be facing epic Earth changes & solar disruptions. With the passage of the National Defense Authorization Act, the US government can accuse people of domestic terrorism and effectively remove them from their families without any kind of due process, thus trampling on the Bill of Rights. Further, he suggests that the US government is tracking citizens' purchases using various algorithms, and how they eventually plan to remove guns from homes.
A report has emerged that there could be 14,000 excess deaths in the US linked to Fukushima radiation. The seriousness of the situation in Japan has been hushed up in the mainstream media, Quayle noted, adding that according to his source, there are possible plans for the evacuation of Tokyo. Regarding vaccinations in the US, which eventually may be made mandatory, he believes they put people's health into a compromised state, and are ultimately part of the elite's plan to reduce the population. Quayle also mentions that chemtrails are another method being used to attack people's immune systems.
Quayle said he is keeping an eye on volcanic activity in Iceland, because it could potentially set off the mid-Atlantic ridge in the Azores, causing a huge tsunami. We are seeing antipodal quakes, where seismic activity in one location could trigger a quake on the opposite spot on the globe. Quayle also suggests weather modification technology and scalar weaponry also may be increasing climate problems and quakes. People need to take survival preparedness seriously, and should make sure they have a "bug-out bag"-- a portable kit containing items needed to survive for 72 hours when evacuating from a disaster, Quayle advises.
