Top ones? Working Girl, Starship Troopers, Armegeddon, Steel Magnolias, Grease, Guess Who's Coming for Dinner, My Fair Lady, The Wizard of Oz, Miracle on 34th St, okay, I could go on all day; generally sci-fi (Planet of the Apes--the original), comedy (Terms of Endearment), and action (48 Hrs.) I can overlook a great many flaws if the plot is good and/or the scenes are uber-spectacular.

Music:

I like music. Of almost every kind. Australian Aborigines, Afrikan beats, Spanish Salsa, European Waltz, patriotic, musical music, jazz, rock, western, country, pop, top 40, Ska, and yes...even some rap. Am I well versed? Well, I could probably name one name or band of fame in each of those catagories. But elsewise....no. I just like what I like.

Books:

The Dune series, by Frank Herbert and, yes, despite what most fans of Frank say, I also much enjoyed his son's and partner's prequals and sequals. But I've read enough of the original to grasp the author, and saw enough of the author in his son's (and partner's) work to know they did their due diledgence. (Sorry; my spellings atrocious.) Are there mistakes, incongruences? Absolutely. But there are, also, in Frank's original 6 books. Such is life--it's good fiction. My bible, or sorts (only much longer, when taken as a whole.)
