What's good with you? I just happened to be listenin to AZ's "Good For Nothing" and was reminded of my then, top 5 and the comments we exchanged. My top 5 has fluctuated a bit in the last 4 months. Now it's: 1. Nas and Blackdove, 2. Immortal Technique, 3. AZ and Talib Kweli, 4. Tupac, & 5. Common and Cormega. Just thought I'd drop a message by cuz the more I embrace the illest MCs, the more solid my list becomes. One Love!

What's good? I just wish everyone expressed their opinions like us... in an intellectual manor. Now I respect yo opinion about Rakim bein the greatest, cuz he's definitely the MC Nas aspired to be. But as GODLY as Ra's lyrics are, Nas' are just as GODLY. I mean who could deny somethin like "Death penalty in Texas kill young boys and girls, barbarity/ I'm in a double casualty/ buggin how I made it out the hood dazzled me/ how far are we from 3rd world savagery/ when the empire fall imagine how crazy that'll be" - "America". One!

And I feel you on Rakim layin the foundation for Nas and every ill type rhymer out there. But whose to say that the prodigy can't end up bein illa the mentor? Cuz I think that's the way it occurred. Ra laid the foundation for Nas and Nas definitely wanted to earn that Rakim type respect, but sometime along the way, the prodigy surpassed his mentor. One!
