I'm always hearing about walkathons for cancer and AIDS but what about for survivors of incest, rape, & abuse? Walkathons seem like one of the best ways to raise funds so how come I have never heard of one for RAINN? Maybe there has been but I have never heard of any. So how about it RAINN? Why not start having walkathons?

Today I watched a shocking and very sad story on montel Williams about 2 women who where sexually abused...I want to thank them for their courage in sharing their stories in bringing awareness and the possibility of helping others who are suffering and to bring justice to the perpetrator...and making known this web site for helping children who have been traumatized by these horrific acts. As Montel put it "It's the ultimate betrayal". Very sad world we live in when there are people out there who victimize children as well as animals...those who are so helpless and dependent. Thank you for a caring place for these adult children who are survivors to have a place to turn to to heal. Thank you Montel for your sharing these stories on your show to raise awareness
