Yet another Zelda game from CD-i. From IGN:
"Beyond licensing the name, Nintendo had virtually nothing to do with the product. Ganon and his minions have seized the peaceful island of Koridai and imprisoned Zelda. It is written, 'Only Link can Defeat Ganon.' To do so, he must conquer the hideous Faces of Evil... Each more diabolic than the one before. Against all odds, Zelda must be freed and Koridai returned to harmony. The box cover bills the game as a "fast-paced action adventure" spanning 70 playfields and featuring 90 "astonishing" characters. Like the many multimedia titles published by Philips, Faces of Evil failed to attract gamers to the ill-fated CD-i."
Personally, I find it amusing that you have to stab people to get them to talk to you. I was only going to put in one fight scene, but the interaction with the locals is positively the best thing evar.
