The "Rapka" Story

Group "Rapka" is a creative project of Alexej K. In the past decade the destiny brought many Russians abroad into different cities, countries and even continents. In 2005 Alexej decided to visit all old friends around the world and bring them together. That triggered the idea to create a song about all people from city Odessa (Ukraine). It took a year to realize this project. The main idea is summarized in the last words of the song:
"It doesn't matter, where we now live-- your home will be always in your heart"
That why this song is dedicated not only to people from Odessa, but to all people, who live away from places where they grow up, but still associated with the culture, tradition and remember their roots, heritage, their friends and relatives...
