if people treated each other as well as theoretically possible, by learning that way and knowing it the best way to treat each other... how many people could the earth sustain?

dramatic ending!

I like wukdar, but I respond in an appropriate tone to his admonition. I really hate when people refer to dictionary definitions as philosophical authorities... make by aproximators... do you think that a scientist goes to a dictionary for a definition of relativity? of mass even? Hell no, the dictionary author is asking them and getting it only part wrong, hopefully.

The point, you wukdar are MISSING the point, that is usually the case when one has the WTF? experience so profoundly.

Subjectivism does not always mean dreams count as reality, that's bullshit, it's really the fact that our picture of reality turns out to be just a picture, mixed with illusion.

WUKDAR! It is about IMPROVING the estimates of which is "real" and which is illusion. Your illogical deep confidence about the "obviousness" just means you'll miss catching some illusion. You can know reality without thinking absolutely.

That's why science uses THEORY, not "ABSOLUTE INVOLATE RULES". We call them laws sometimes, fine, but we THINK about them as theories.
