You are partly correct. The Oligarchy I was talking about was the "rich Jewish elite" that lived in luxury while most Germans starved. These also included the ones that made a deal with Britain for Palestine & thus brought the U.S. thru media and political influence into WW1 against Germany. However the worst depression in history was the German depression because of the Versailles treaty that was a terrible economic burden on the Germans. This economic crunch did not affect the RICH in Germany who were mostly & disproportionately Jewish. Jews were 10% or less of the population & most poor.

Afther the jews sold the Germans out in ww1 (in exchange for Palestine), the average German became to realize how hard they have been betrayed, but when the anti jewish sentiment wass growing, the jews in Germany took the offensive without a minute thought and started boycotting German products around the world, killing the economy.
