INVISTA, the company behind the STAINMASTER® carpet brand, is re-launching the brand through recently appointed agency, Wilson Everard.
Research showed that the original STAINMASTER® brand"Pro Hart" commercial created over two decades ago was still remembered and loved by the Australian public.
With the ad still having such enormous recall with Australian audiences, Wilson Everard joint CD's Jeremy Wynne and Justin Groves decided to create an ad that tapped into this wealth of positive association. The trick, of course, was how to do it without Pro.
"We needed to replicate the impact, fun and success of the original ad, but with a new generation of carpet," said Account Manager Natalie Kuss. "And that meant finding a new generation Pro!"
Groves and Wynne spoke to Pro's family before choosing his 9 year old grandson Harry to reprise Pro's original role.
"Pro really enjoyed doing that ad," said Groves, "And you'll see Harry enjoying it as much as his grandfather did.". Wynne agreed, "We had to be true to the spirit of the original ad but with a twist that delivers the message that STAINMASTER® carpet is back and better than ever."
The ad was directed by Mark Toia of Zoom film and TV and media for the campaign will be handled by Mindshare.

Gone are the days of different chargers and lots of cords and plugs around the house. With a new Powermat you can recharge your devices simply by placing them on the mat. Quick to realise the potential of the product, retailers like David Jones, JB-HiFi, Myer and Harvey Norman were happy to climb on-board. The product is set to launch in May with a TVC created by Powermats agency Wilson Everard. The new TVC, which will appear on FTA, Pay TV and the web, demonstrates just how easy it easy to recharge your wireless devices. The simplicity of Powermats new energy transfer technology is highlighted to full effect in the TVC which also demonstrates the incredible versatility of the device. The ad was art directed and written by Wilson Everard joint Creative Directors Justin Groves and Jeremy Wynne and directed by Ernie Clark of Spirit Films.

From the AFLPA to Wilson Everard to The Prime Ministers office in 5 days.
Just think how good it would be if we could get all the footy finals captains to add their voices to the Just think anti-violence campaign started by Tom Harley and the Geelong Advertiser. As soon as the words had left his mouth, Matt Finnis from the AFLPA knew he would be up against incredible time pressures if he wanted to bring the idea to life in TV, radio and print in a mere 5 working days.
As he ran to catch a plane back to Melbourne from Sydney, Matt rang Wilson Everard Creative directors Justin Groves and Jeremy Wynne and asked if they could put something together that would get the backing of the AFL, Tom Harley and the captains, The Geelong Advertiser, Fairfax media, all the TV networks, radio stations and hopefully the Federal Government.
Three hours later he arrived at Wilson Everards offices in Bowen Crescent Melbourne and was presented with the campaign. By 2.30pm he walked out of the office, campaign in hand, and by the end of the day he had all the backing he needed. Over Thursday and Friday Matt spent most of this time on the phone with players and team media managers co-ordinating times to film players in three different states. At the same time Wilson Everard began creating all the print work and organised a film crew with post production house SMR. By Monday the artwork for the print was approved and ready for despatch and the filming was underway. By Tuesday night the TVC was finished, and as Matt left SMR he was still on the phone, this time with the Prime Ministers office as Mr. Rudd wanted to lend his support to the campaign. On Thursday the campaign was launched at the MCG with the Prime Minister in attendance and by Thursday night was all over the news. Matts objective of giving the Just think campaign a stronger voice through the finals had been well and truly achieved.
