Following the overwhelming success of their first two albums, 'Inside In/Inside Out' and 'Konk' (which scored UK chart positions no.2 and no.1 respectively,) combined with a hectic worldwide touring schedule that saw the band on the road for most of 2008, The Kooks took a brief step back from the limelight earlier this year and retreated to a friend's house in Norfolk...

It was here, in a converted farmhouse in East Anglia, where work on their much anticipated third album began. Writing sessions in Marseilles followed but, never ones to stray from the energy of the stage for too long, the band returned to the road earlier this summer for a string of European festival dates as well as headine shows in South America.
