Thanks for your comments Mr.Spinrad, Star Trek's The Doomsday Machine had a very inspiring effect on my way back as a kid. I became an animator (blacklisted now in NYC because I love Japanese anime)influenced in part through you and Mr.Roddenberry's sense of balancing action, humor, high concepts and character complexities for a country that couldn't see worth in the arena that it was producing. I can't begin to explain the level of influence on my life of "A World Between". It's possibly the best explanation of a lot of American politics since the time it was written, which is amazing because apparently almost nobody admits to having read it, but so many of its concepts and tropes are so widely circulated in the sociopolitical dialog of our modern existence. Congratulations for your vision and the work you put into getting it into print. Salutations to Mr Norman Spinrad. And why don't they make a movie of "A World Between"? It was once excellent science fiction. In the modern day, it's neither science, nor hardly fiction. A movie would mostly look like the evening news, with starships.

Don't you think it's time for a Men in the Jungle movie?
