The purpose of this is to catch feral cats in order to spay or neuter them an dreturn them to their habitat. The reason is so we don't have a bunch of little kittens running around, increasing the feral population and dying of starvation. I am sure it is a bit traumatic for them, but it is for the well-being of the entire colony of cats. Often people who are anti-feral cats will leave them alone if they know they are fixed. PLus, it gets rid of anti-social behaviors likepeeing on your door and yowling at other kitties.

This appears to be very traumatic for any type of animal, wild or pet....what's the purpose? I can, however, look at both sides, and if your beloved pet has "bolted" in unfamiliar territory, I would probably use this in the cat's best interest (vs. being lost in the wild).

Uhm, my user name is NOT smokedawg, not sure how or why the site has given me that name, as I never was asked to sign in or anything... but anyway...helpful video.

The sound is very low for your TNR drop trap video.
