On the background of the enchanting coast of Maratea, the fifth edition of IO ISABELLA INTERNATIONAL FILM WEEK opens its doors. A new Film Festival, unique in the South of Italy (1 part event, 2 parts festival, 1 part Fiesta!) which, drawing inspiration from the life of Italian Renaissance poetess Isabella Morra, will engage into Cinematic excursions and pleasure trips. Under a bewildering blanket of sky, among the colours and flavours of a beautiful and mysterious corner of the Italian Land, we'll screen a serie of International Films and Documentaries of all lengths and formats.
The Festival focuses on Women and Documentary. Besides the Competition and the Documentary programmes, we'll feature a number of satellite programmes: Country in Focus, Retrospectives, Cartoon's Night, Hip Hop Nation and amny many others.
